The latest generation of the original AMBU bags is the Ambu Mark IV. It is suitable for manual ventilation of adults and children weighing 15 kg.
In the development of the Mark IV, special emphasis was placed on the proven double chamber principle (inner body with elastic outer cover). This allows the user to feel the respiratory pressure, which makes the ventilation more secure. Thanks to this integrated pressure limitation, the user can easily and reliably recognize whether the airways are free.
The integrated hand strap allows you to grip the pouch even better and is therefore very handy - even with smaller hands. The entire Mark IV can be autoclaved up to 134 °C including the reservoir bag. Thanks to the new design of the resuscitator, the outer cover can now be easily removed and the bag can be disassembled and reassembled.
