The Breast Pathology Model 1008497 / L56 by 3B Scientific is designed for demonstrating healthy and unhealthy breast tissue in both lactating and non-lactating breasts.

The lactating right breast is medially divided into 2 halves which are held together magnetically. The model features healthy lactating tissue on the cut surface of the external half and shows breast gland inflammation (mastitis) on the cut surface of the inner half. The non-lactating left breast features 2 sagital cuts which can separate into 3 parts, which can be held together magnetically. Healthy anatomical structures are shown on the sectional plane of the external half, and the skin is windowed to view the regional lymph nodes. This breast model also features the following pathologies:

Cysts and fibroadenoma on the external sectional plane of the middle breast cut
Pathological proliferation of the breast connective tissue (fibrocystic breast disease) on the inner sectional plane of the middle breast cut
Malignant tumours on the sectional plane of the inner breast cut
