This budget childbirth model features a life-size pelvis and foetal skull to allow for demonstration of the mechanisms of the passage of the baby through the birth canal during delivery.
The plastic pelvis features the hip bones, sacrum and coccyx, which have a small degree of flexibility to demonstrate the movement of bones during childbirth. The foetal head is mounted on a flexible metal hose to allow the head to pass through the pelvis during demonstrations.
A great value birth demonstration model ideal for antenatal and basic biology classes. A stand is included with this model.
