This functional hip model is designed to show the physiological movements of a human hip joint in clear detail. Movement that can be demonstrated includes abduction, internal and external rotation, flexion and extension. This natural-cast model shows the anatomical features of the bones in detail, with the cartilage marked in blue and including ligaments. Included on this hip model is the right half of the pelvis and part of a femur.
This model is mounted on a base for easy display in a clinic or classroom.
