What is the significance of the four-prong finger? What types of injuries do they treat?
Four-prong finger splints immobilise the finger completely, preventing additional harm and allowing the finger to heal. They're great for sprained fingers, stable finger fractures, and volar plate injuries, as well as mallet/baseball finger.
What's the material used to make them?
The splint includes a foam inside lining for comfort, and the aluminium covering adds structure and allows the splint to be adjusted to the user's preferences.
