The Heart Bypass Model is an accurate model double the size of a real heart, making it an ideal aid for teaching to larger groups. The front wall of the heart is removable to study the inner chambers.
As well as accurately showing the anatomy of the human heart, the giant heart model shows a venal bypass to the ramus postero-lateralis of the right coronary artery, to the ramus interventricularis ant. of the left coronary artery with branching to the ramus diagonalis as well as a bypass to the ramus circumflexus of the left coronary artery. The heart model is ideal for university-level education and can also be used to demonstrate the bypass procedure to cardiac patients.
