Product Specifications
Hibiscrub is an anti-microbial, antiseptic cleaning product for surgeries. It contains Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v in suspension.
Indications
- Pre-operative surgical hand disinfection
- Antiseptic handwash on the ward
- Pre-operative skin antisepsis for the patient
- Post-operative skin antisepsis for the patient
Product Performance
- Chlorhexidine gluconate is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive
and Gram-negative vegetative bacteria including MRSA and MSSA, yeasts,
dermatophyte fungi and lipophilic viruses - Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v has been shown to have immediate bactericidal and sustained antiseptic effects helping to reduce skin flora for up to 6 hours
- Hibiscrub kills 99.99% of clinically relevant MRSA strains within one minute
Efficacy plus emollients
The skin friendly emollients in Hibiscrub (Macrogol 7 Glycerol Cocoate & Glycerol) help prevent dry and cracked skin.

- This product is usually dispatched via Royalmail, parcelforce, Dx and delivery should be within 2 to 4 working days.
