Hibiscrub is an anti-microbial, antiseptic cleaning product for surgeries. It contains Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v in suspension.

Indications

• Pre-operative surgical hand disinfection
• Antiseptic handwash on the ward
• Pre-operative skin antisepsis for the patient
• Post-operative skin antisepsis for the patient

Product Performance

• Chlorhexidine gluconate is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive
  and Gram-negative vegetative bacteria including MRSA and MSSA, yeasts,
  dermatophyte fungi and lipophilic viruses
• Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v has been shown to have immediate bactericidal and sustained antiseptic effects helping to reduce skin flora for up to 6 hours
• Hibiscrub kills 99.99% of clinically relevant MRSA strains within one minute
