The IB10 sphingotest® β-HCG enables the quantitative determination of β-HCG in lithium heparin whole blood or plasma for the early detection of pregnancy. Total hCG is detected by measuring the intact hCG molecule and its free β subunit. A pregnancy can be confirmed as early as 3-4 weeks after the last menstrual period.
The quantitative measurement takes place within 20 minutes near the patient on your POC device, the Nexus IB10.
