Intradermal injections of 0.1ml per injection are achieved by a high velocity liquid jet which penetrates the surface membrane to a depth of 2-5mm and produces a weal of up to 6mm diameter without contact with the injection site.

The 4ml reservoir is easily filled to permit up to 40 injections to be given in rapid succession.
Unit weighs 300 grams and is manufactured from surgical grade stainless steel.

By purchasing spare heads, the injector head can be changed between patients and then sterilised in one batch.
