Marsden MBF-6010 Body Composition Scale
Marsden MBF-6010 Body Composition Scale is widely used in hospitals and gyms and increasingly by sports clubs. It measures body composition, Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), Total Body Water (TBW), Fat Free Mass (FFM), Fat Mass (FM), Body Fat %, Weight and BMI. There is an optional printer to record all the readings, which makes it perfect for monitoring key fitness data for sports professionals, semi professionals and the serious amateur athlete. The scale is column mounted so it is suitable for use in a ward, gym or sports club. This scale was developed in the UK by Marsden in conjunction with Hull York Medical School. The research undertaken has proved that the algorithm used by the Marsden scale is closer to DEXA than body composition scales from other manufacturers. It is a small fraction of the price of its competitors, is backed by robust British research and Class III approved to medical weighing standards and approved under the Medical Devices Directive (MDD).
