MediGenix Universal BP Cuff (22-42cm) [Pack of 1]
The MediGenix Large Blood Pressure Monitor Cuff is a bit bigger than a standard cuff. The size ranges between 22 and 42 centimetres. It hasn't been calibrated to work with other blood pressure monitors and is only designed to work with the MediGenix Automatic Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor.
What is the significance of blood pressure?
The importance of blood pressure is that it tells us how much pressure is imposed when blood is pumped out of the heart and how much pressure is exerted when the heart relaxes between beats. If your blood pressure is too high, it can lead to a stroke or a heart attack, as well as increase your risk of long-term health problems like kidney disease, dementia, and coronary heart disease. You can identify if you're at danger of getting certain issues and maybe avoid them by keeping track of your blood pressure.
