Mepilex is designed for a wide range of exuding wounds such as leg and foot ulcers and traumatic wounds such as skin tears, abrasions and burns
Mepilex is suitable for use under compression bandaging
Mepilex is made of an absorbent foam pad coated with a soft silicone, Safetac layer and moisture vapour permeable waterproof film backing
Mepilex requires secondary fixation and absorbs effectively whilst minimising the risk for maceration
The dressing maintains a moist wound environment for optimal wound healing
