The wrist splint with thumb abduction is ideal for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, metacarpophalangeal, or carpometacarpal joint injury. It supports the wrist and helps it heal properly. It also restricts movement in order to avoid aggravating the injury or overworking the wrist. To inhibit flexion and extension, the palmar and dorsal are immobilised. The thumb is also protected by the splint from any impact.
Our paediatric splints are available in two sizes for children and include adjustable closures for a secure fit. The splint is constructed of foam material and is breathable. It has been anatomically constructed to provide maximum support and a superior fit.
