The size of stocking required should correspond with the size ofT.E.D. stocking issued during your hospital stay; if in doubt pleasere-measure.Ensure correct application and fitting of your stocking to avoidany sores or discomfort.Your stockings should be worn day and night for up to 6 weeksfollowing discharge from hospital.Do not allow your stocking to roll down asthis may cause constriction and impede your blood flow.Your stockings should be washed every 2-3 days and will last up to30 washes, using either a washing machine or washing by hand.If using a washing machine, wash at 40°C and tumble dry at low heat.Place stockings inside a pillow case to prevent drum damage insidethe washing machine or tumble drier. Wash by hand if preferredusing a hot temperature.“
