Rossmax Aneroid Sphygmomanometer With Wrap Cuff [Pack of 1]

The Rossmax Sphygmomanometer is a smart and straightforward tool for manually measuring blood pressure. With a white dial face and chrome-plated brass air valve release, it has a professional and sleek appearance.

The sphygmomanometer is available in three configurations: wrap cuff, D-ring cuff, or D-ring cuff and stethoscope. A zipped bag is included with each selection. The wrap can be resized between 25.2-40.6cm and the D-ring cuff can be resized between 24-32cm. Both cuffs are latex-free and can be worn by almost anyone.

How to apply:

1. You must first put on the cuff. You won't be able to take a successful reading if the cuff isn't applied appropriately. Wrap your bare upper arm in the cuff, with the tube coming out the bottom in line with your fourth finger. A main artery icon is located on the cuff to assist you in properly wrapping the cuff around your arm.

2. Next, insert the stethoscope directly underneath the cuff, over the main artery.

3. Check that the valve is closed and squeeze the bulb to get a blood pressure 20-30mmHg higher than normal by glancing at the pressure on the dial.

4. Slowly open the valve to allow the cuff to deflate.

5. Record the reading on the dial face as soon as you hear the heartbeat through the stethoscope - this is your systolic reading.

6. Continue to slowly deflate the cuff. Record the reading on the dial face when you can no longer hear the heartbeat; this is your diastolic reading.
