The Schuco Smoke Evac can be operated automatically with your diathermy unit, manually through the use of a footswitch or by depressing the activation button on the unit. The strength of the suction can be regulated to requirement via the dial located on the front of the unit. The ULPA (Ultra Low Penetration Air) filter has a 20 hour active life span and has an added active carbon filter for the elimination of odours, found within surgical smoke plume. The Schuco Smoke Evac notifies the user when the filter reaches a low level by an LED indicator, it will also notify you via a red LED when the filter has reached the end of its life. The quick change system allows the filter to be replaced seamlessly.
