    Sorbsan Plus Border Self Adhesive Alginate Dressing 14cm x 24cm [5]

    Sorbsan Plus SA is a self-adhesive calcium alginate wound dressing. The calcium alginate wound contact layer is bonded to a secondary absorbent layer, which in turn is covered with a beige coloured, microporous, thin foam backing. This extends to provide the dressing with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive border.


    The non-woven Sorbsan calcium alginate is high in Mannuronic acid and low in Guluronic acid. The secondary layer absorbs excess exudate. This combination makes Sorbsan Plus SA a highly absorbent dressing.
